SAFETY FACTORS
On the way to the Chapel you will be walking along the public highway and a farm track. Traffic will be using the road and care should be taken to keep to the side to allow vehicles to pass safely. Also, beside the farm track there is a wildlife pond and open farmland. Please ensure that children are attended at all times.
With the beach nearby, children should be accompanied at all times. Please remember that you are in the country and keep to the country code.
DISABLED PARKING AT CHAPEL GATE
There is limited parking and mini bus transport available at the Chapel Gate for those who are unable to walk the two miles to the Chapel. Please talk to the Stewards.
MINIBUS
Minibus transport will be provided for Pilgrims unable to walk to the Chapel.
At the end of the day the minibuses will be available for anyone who cannot walk and requires a lift to the Village Hall car park. A donation per journey will be appreciated – Please give generously.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
Many people give generously of their time, talent and resources to make sure that the pilgrimage takes place each year but the hire of the tents, toilets and sound equipment represent a major cost of the day.
The pilgrimage relies on a grant from CTEEL and whatever donations are made by you, the Pilgrims. Therefore, we ask you, please, to give as generously as you can today. Please feel free to give only as much as you can afford.
